Yippee! It’s nearly half term and all of the children are becoming exceedingly elated as we come closer to Friday. There has also been a lot going on this week like: Tests; Pancake Day; Valentines Day and half term!
On Monday, years three and four did some Maths tests but years five and six had to do reading tests as well. Also, Reverend Rhodes came in to talk about lent and pancake day in assembly. On Tuesday, lots of pancakes were eaten to celebrate the beginning of lent. Esme said she wants to eat her Pancakes now! (Monday)
Valentines Day! Have you got a valentine? This year we are not having a disco however, Mrs cooper is considering a disco for red nose day instead!
We now break up for one whole week! We are all so exited that it is now here. Next Monday we won't have to get up so early in the morning! This is the last week of school and on Friday it is headteacher's award in assembly. Foundation Stage have finished the term by dressing up as book characters for the end of their topic, 'Pants.'
Rosie and Catherine reporting to you from Carlton Primary School. That’s all for now, bye.
