This week we are so elated because Foundation Stage have had new arrivals - chicks; YAY! They are so cute and fluffy everyone wants to see them. Luckily, Miss Eastwood is going to ask Mrs. Cooper if she can let us all hold them. The Foundation children are so happy that they are going to be able to hold the chicks soon. We are all exited.

The first chick that came out was not caught on camera because the laptop was doing a virus scan. They were devastated. One had a hole in that kept getting bigger and bigger and BIGGER! The chick popped its beak out. It hatched in front of our eyes!! They are not the cutest things when they are born…..

They reckon (in Foundation) that 2 might not make it because they haven’t moved since they got them.

In other news, year 6 have had their SATs this week, and they (with year five) had a bun sale at the end of the week to raise money for their new topic after half term.

The bake sale was morning and afternoon.  It was one cake for 50p or 50p for two tiny cakes or lollies. Year 6 and year 5 made them for all of school. Everyone enjoyed it and had the chance to buy some. Year 6 and 5 were selling the buns and it was Year 6 v Year 5. Who will raise the most money?
