In Carlton Primary School this week we have been celebrating harvest time. We have been making harvest letters for our Harvest Festival which was on Thursday morning in the school hall.

Every class had been given a letter to decorate. Each letter stood for something special like sunshine or rain and the letters spelt out ‘OUR HARVEST.’ It was a brilliant forty minute celebration that included us singing four songs.

At 8:30, children and parents began to bring in fruit, vegetables and all kinds of other food that they wanted to donate to the people that needed it the most.

In the afternoon, all the Year 6 children delivered the food to people in Carlton Village who were very pleased to see us.

This year the Harvest Festival was the best ever and we hope it will be even better next year.
