On Friday 5th December the whole school started showing children at Carlton Primary their dress rehearsals for their Christmas plays which all of the parents would then be able to watch in the forthcoming days.

Year 1/2 did their performance on Monday and it was about a sheep who was curios and could not get to sleep when he saw a donkey, a man and a woman. He decided to follow them and at last came to a stable where there was a baby lying in a crib. He saw men giving the baby gifts so he decided to give the baby his fur coat to keep the child warm.

The next children to do their Nativity was Foundation Stage. They all really enjoyed putting on the show for the rest of the school and liked all the attention.

On Tuesday 9th December, year 5/6 performed their Carol Concert for the rest of the school. They then put on their show for the parents on Wednesday 10th December at Lofthouse Church.  It was an amazing atmosphere that made all of the parents proud.

The week was an eventful and hardworking week but we all think it payed off because it was really enjoyable watching them all.
