This week KS1 have been doing excellent learning and we have been going around school having sneaky peeks at their learning for our school website.

Foundation Stage‚Äôs focus areas this week were pirates, books and subtraction. Blue bay have been focusing on how to handle books and which way up they go. Red bay have been painting and drawing pirates to go up on the wall. Yellow bay have been learning about subtraction and addition.

KS1 have been writing riddles, looking at habitats and adding coins together.  Daniel, age 5, has commented  that he enjoys working in partners and P.E.   The teachers in KS1 have quoted that the children are enjoying their topic work as it is about jungles.

On Monday, Ruby class had a surprise visit from one of our former teachers, Mrs.Thomas. Their day included: singing songs; making collages and playing musical instrumentsAs we can see KS1 have been doing excellent learning and more is to come from these talented students!

We asked Mrs Cooper how well she thought KS1 were learning and she thought they were becoming very independent.
