Home Learning is still incredibly important in UKS2 and reading regularly can unlock a whole host of additional learning and enjoyment. All staff in UKS2 should be able to point you in the right direction of information and support. Please see below the expectations for Home Learning.
The my mini maths website has around 30 test papers, so children are welcome to do a full paper each day, or as much as they can in 30 minutes. It is split into days too, if this is more sustainable.
If any Year 5 children are struggling with the year 6 papers there is another section called my mini-maths tasks.
These are shorter daily tasks that might be better suited to some children - includes answers. There are also lots of great videos on the website if children are not sure how to tackle a question.
This morning UKS2 teachers have also updated TTRS with 5 daily games and Spelling shed to we can keep a track of this on a daily basis rather than weekly.
Please see the staffing structure below and don't hesitate to come into school if you have any queries.
