Year 4 residential
9th-10th November 2017
What an amazing trip! The children had a brilliant couple of days. They loved seeing their WW2 learning come to life at Eden Camp - trying out bomb shelters, experiencing the Blitz and life during the Blackout, going on a submarine, singing war time songs and burning off some energy in the play fort! Everyone enjoyed the overnight stay at the York Youth Hostel - the beds were comfy, the meals were yummy and the egg drop challenge proved to be as it says, quite a challenge! Day 2 was just as fantastic. York Minster was breath taking and time spent in the Art Gallery was inspiring and relaxing for everyone. Thank you to all of the Year 4 children, they behaved wonderfully, were a pleasure to take away and were a credit to our school.
It isn't long until our year 4 children head off to Eden Camp and York for two fantastic days of learning and camaraderie. All the information shared in the most recent parents' meeting is in the slide show below, as well as a kit list.
