We built on the Learning Skill of ‘Resilient’.  The children celebrated everything that made them special and unique.  These sessions are to build the self-esteem of our children so that they are less likely to fall victim to bullying behaviours.  We want our children to be confident and to have positive regard for themselves and the differences of others.  By developing this, children are more likely to stand up to bullying behaviours or seek help from the team of people in school.

Whole school assemblies also support our work to build self esteem; we follow the Being Well programme and delve into topics such as: Community & Family, Mindfulness, Relationships, Happiness, Childhood and Keeping Safe.
