'Mathletics is a captivating online learning space providing students with all the tools they need to be successful learners, both in the classroom and beyond.'

Mathletics at Carlton forms an integral part of both our lessons and Home Learning.

Please see below guidance regarding our Home Learning and a list of useful webpages and documents to help support you at home.

Home Learning

Each week, your child will be set an assigned task. This task is selected by the class teacher and will coincide with the learning that is taking place within the classroom.

Due to the specific needs of individual classes and even pupils, from time to time the tasks set may differ between classes, year groups and even children.

Once your child has completed their assigned task, they are free to access Mathletics however, please be aware that there are some restrictions to the topics that can be accessed. Each half term, the class teacher will allocate a certain topic to coincide with what is being taught in class. The children are free to work through these activities as they wish.

Please note, that the allocation of topic areas may vary from one week to a number of weeks depending on the length of time spent on this area in class.

If a topic area has been completed, children are free to access Live Mathletics, which is great practise for mental recall.
