Christmas has arrived in style at Carlton Primary School this week as calendars accross the school were finally turned to December.

Christmas trees have been popping up in classrooms all over school but we are especially proud of the trees that members of our school council went to choose for themselves last week.  The trees came from a Christmas Tree farm in Methley and were chopped down by our very own Mr Buckley, including the one for the hall which stands at an impressive 10 feet tall.

Rehearsals have begun for our very busy Christmas schedule which includes special shows from Foundation, KS1, Lower KS2 and a Carol Concert at Lofthouse Church for Upper KS2.  Please see the school calendar for dates and times of events.

Mr Coe, our Deputy Head Teacher, is very excited about this time of year and stated, "I simply don't know how we will have time to fit everything in!"

We are hoping this is going to be the best Carlton Christmas ever!
