School Council

At Carlton Primary School, our school council is a group of children who represent the views of all our pupils. It gives our children the opportunity to have their voices heard and be part of the school community. The group work hard to help make decisions about school life and organise whole school events including charity or themed days.

27.2.24 - The school council have been busy preparing for Red Nose Day. They have learnt about the charity and who we are raising money for and have then come up with some fundraising ideas. The next step is for us to gather the resources!

9.11.23 - This lunchtime we have been getting resources together for our Children in Need charity event next Friday. We will be running stalls including, name the teddy, guess how many sweets in the jar, bracelets and football shooting.

The children who would like to be on the school council have had the opportunity to present their ideas to their class, using their application form. The teachers were super impressed with how confidently the children delivered their speeches and cannot wait for the next stage.
